Publish date: 2024-06-28

Demi Lovato has teamed up with Spotify to release a Spanish version of her hit ‘Tell Me You Love Me’.

The track appears on the streaming site’s Latin flagship playlist ¡Viva Latino! as part of their new year-round Amplify hub. The hub is available to fans in the US & Canada with the aim of highlighting, empowering and amplifying important topics and voices from various communities.

During the year, Amplify will shed light on Gender Equality, Mental Health & Self Care, LGBTQ rights, and Immigration. March kicks off with ‘Amplify Women’ in celebration of Women’s History Month.

To celebrate Women’s History Month, we can expect a broad range of podcasts and playlists which represent the views of women around the world. There will also be a dedicated playlist, which will be known as Amplify: Women of the World, featuring tracks from the likes of Raisa x Isyana from Indonesia, Saara Aalto from Finland, and Fatouma Diawara from Mali to name a few.

Spotify will also be acknowledging the diverse voices of Latin women throughout the month, following the recent global surge in popularity of Latin music. Their Women of Latin initiative kicks off with Demi Lovato’s Spanish version of ‘Tell Me You Love Me’, as well as a video interview which sees her discuss the song, confidence and gender equality.

Speaking to Spotify, Demi said: “Our world is inspiring people to speak up about the things they believe in, to make a difference, to make a change. And one of the things that people are speaking out against is women’s rights, women hold so much power, so much strength, we really need to embrace that as a society and all genders.”
